At Romocore, we believe that a plush toy is more than just fabric and stuffing—it is an emotional anchor. A defect isn't just a manufacturing error; it disrupts the connection between the user and the product.

That is why we enforce a Zero-Compromise Quality Policy. From raw material sourcing to final packaging, our rigorous QC protocols exceed international safety standards (ASTM, EN71, CE), ensuring that every product leaving our factory is safe, durable, and identical to your approved "Golden Sample."

1. Compliance & Safety Certifications

We manufacture strictly according to the safety regulations of your target market. Our materials and finished products are tested to comply with:

  • USA: ASTM F963-17, CPSIA, CPC (Children's Product Certificate).

  • Europe: EN71-1, -2, -3 (Mechanical, Flammability, Migration of Certain Elements), CE Marking.

  • Global: ISO 8124, REACH (Chemical Compliance).

  • Ethical Audit: We are committed to social compliance (BSCI / Sedex available upon request).

2. Our 4-Stage QC Process

We don't just check the final product; we control quality at every stage of the lifecycle.

Stage 1: IQC (Incoming Quality Control)

"Quality starts at the source."
Before a single roll of fabric enters our warehouse, we inspect:

  • Material Safety: Verifying non-toxic dyes and lead-free materials.

  • Color Consistency: Checking fabric lots against Pantone standards under standard light sources (D65).

  • Durability: Testing fabric strength and pile retention (no shedding).

Stage 2: IPQC (In-Process Quality Control)

"Catching errors before they become products."
During cutting, sewing, and embroidery:

  • Pattern Precision: Laser cutting ensures accuracy within 0.5mm.

  • Seam Strength: Random pull tests on seams to prevent bursting.

  • Embroidery Check: Inspecting stitch density and thread tension to ensure logos and eyes are crisp and secure.

  • Accessory Security: Tension Test (12-20 lbs) on safety eyes, noses, and buttons to prevent choking hazards.

Stage 3: FQC (Final Quality Control)

"The Needle Detection Protocol."
This is the most critical step for plush toys.

  • 100% Metal Detection: Every single unit passes through an industrial-grade metal detector (sensitivity: Fe 

    ≥
     1.0mm) to ensure NO broken needles or metal fragments remain inside the stuffing.

     

  • Grooming & Shaping: Plush toys can get distorted during sewing. Our finishing team manually "massages" and grooms each toy to ensure the face is symmetrical and the posture is correct.

  • Aesthetics Check: No loose threads, no glue marks, no asymmetry.

Stage 4: OQC (Outgoing Quality Control)

"Ready for the world."
Before shipment, we perform a final random inspection based on AQL 2.5 / 4.0 Standards (Acceptable Quality Limit).

  • Packaging Check: Barcodes, warning labels (suffocation warnings), and shipping marks are verified.

  • Carton Drop Test: Ensuring the master cartons can withstand the rigors of international shipping without crushing the product.

3. The "Golden Sample" Standard

In mass production, consistency is king.
Once you approve the pre-production sample, we seal it as the "Golden Sample."

  • This sample is kept on the production line at all times.

  • Every worker and QC inspector uses the Golden Sample as the only reference for color, shape, and feel.

  • Guarantee: If the mass production units deviate significantly (>5%) from the Golden Sample, we will rework or reproduce them at our cost.

4. Defect Management

Despite our best efforts, if a defect slips through:

  • Report: Contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos/videos.

  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA): We investigate why it happened (e.g., machine error, material flaw).

  • Resolution: We offer replacement, refund, or credit for the defective portion immediately.
